Leah dempsey - her own path

Leah Dempsey moved from Brisbane to the Blue Mountains in 2014 and has been crushing routes and boulders since. Her story is one of finding her own path through the established climbing scene of the Blue Mountains.

She has climbed grade 32 and bouldered V12. Her ability to back herself to get on the routes and boulders she chooses and to execute them with a stubbornness and determination that allows her to get them done, is inspiring. She continues to push herself to be the best climber she can be on her own terms.

We talk about her journey through climbing so far, strategies she uses to get the most out of herself physically and mentally and touch on what it’s like to be a girl crusher at the cliff.
